Retail - Get to Work Customer Flow

Spoiler
My simself has inherited a bakery
It makes good enough simoleans for him and his family. However, i've noticed that the same 7 customers will stand there taking their time to buy something, socialising with each other or if i have background music they'll just dance to it for hours until i ask them to leave. The "loiters" and "socialisers" make the experience annoying as again they just stand there doing what they're programmed to be.

Are there any tips or advice on which perks i should use to get people in and out quickly? I use MCCC to get rid of those who just linger and send home.

  • My experience is that the same crowd will show up to my retail store day after day. I don't really understand why it is set up in such a limiting way. I have 450+ sims, and only a handful keep visiting my sims store?

I don't know if this will change with higher rating o as you ask, certain perks. Let's hope it's the small crowd only on the first low levels.
  • You can speed things along using the retail social interactions. You can also use those to convert loiterers and socializers into paying customers :)

@Simmerville @mightysprite Thank you both, i will try those. I will post an update on my sim self. I'm on vacation until next Monday so i will have a lot of storytelling about him and plenty of screenshots too.
  • Since you have mccc, it has an option to randomise visiting sims. I always have that on by default so I don't see the same 10 sims everywhere I go.
I don't know exactly where in mccc that option is, but I think it's the population module? Or maybe the base module.

Thanks for that, i found it under "other settings" under the population model. Lets see how this works!
