Reviving dead plants

I've had this whim come up a few times and had a discussion about it on another forum. It seems as though this is not something that is in the game yet. Twigs can be found in the buy section when you use the 'bb.showhiddenobjects' cheat but can not be found in-game.

You can revive a dead plant buy clicking on it both in your garden and the wild plants but it doesn't fill this whim as far as I can remember.

@NZsimm3r Thank you for letting me know. This is the first time I had this whim. Hopefully it will be in there soon. Makes no sense to have a whim you can't complete :(

Yes, it seems a little strange. I wonder why it's in the game too. I thought perhaps it was tied to pruning the bonsai tree etc etc but nothing I did gave my sim twigs. :/

Does anyone know if this (collecting twigs from bonsai's) has been added to the game yet? I see this discussion is about a year old.

You can revive a dead plant with cheats, (I'm not sure how to get twigs either). Just shift-click on the plant>set gardening state>plant evolution>on-track. It seems to work fine for me.
