Road To Fame Mod

The creator says it doesn't need updating.

Basically with GF, it's obsolete. Although I'm willing to bet the EA dev team were inspired by aspects of that mod. I used the mod myself, trying to similate fame and a singer career. Don't really need it, now.

so now that get famous is out would you consider the mod unnecessary to have?

Yeah. As it is now it's MOST of it is obsolete as most things from that mod are in this pack BUT doesn't mean won't tweak it to add to more of the gameplay. He was excited for the pack himself. :)

It is and isn't obsolete- at least with the RtF mod you can call a police to deal with a RTF's "stan" unlike with the EP.

i am wondering if it is truly obsolete because there is a professional singer aspect he added. You can have performances so can't you get fame from streaming your performances? I imagine he would need to update it so you would gain fame doing things that are associated with his pack but that depends on if he wants to or not.

I heard he's planning on adding some of the GF to the mod.

Yes. I went ahead and deleted that mod, and the one that would allow my singer to have a work-at-home capability. I may consider reinstalling that one, unless I can make his singer career work on my own. He's already got two stars, just by practicing in public.

Update: I chose to go ahead and download and install the latest version, since it boast a professional singing career. We'll see how it goes. But, I thought I'd let everyone here know the singing version is available.
