Romance Festival/Geek Con props are stuck in place

I had noticed the Geek Con objects still there during my last visit to the neighborhood about a week ago, but didn't think anything of it until I decided to send a sim to the Romance Festival today & ...

Other simmers have also been having this issue. The next time that a festival is held there, have your sims remain there right until the end of the Festival until all the items disappear.
