this is so aromantic sims can exist without being asexual as example

in this scenario i am thinking it would be more like say brant and brent want baby

but since they're both male its not possible (well realistically ofc i could go to cas n all that jazz but you know)

therefore they need lady to be mother to child

therefore at least one of them would have to be willing to make the said child with the lady

in which if i set the woohoo preference to no women that would just fall apart really

I would say Arun and Jesminder Bheeda, probably Nancy and Geoffrey Landgraab as well. I kind of imagined some werewolves townies having preferences such as Rory being a Lesbian/Sapphic and Lou as Bi maybe.

I was only going to bother with the sims who had a strong orientation in my game, but since my usual "Waiting for the mods to update" activity is to work on my save template (which has no CC) I've actually given them to several. For the most part, I've just decided if they're base interested in men or women (or both or neither) and left open to explore alone, but a few are getting more concrete preferences.

So far, Morgyn has ended up aro/ace, Don is straight as a pin, and everyone in Partihouse is open to whatever.

Ah, see, in my game, Nancy Landgraab is a power lesbian whose marriage to Geoffrey is a sham. (At this point, she is an adult, Geoffrey is an elder, and Malcolm is a YA.) She runs a corporation while he stays home and donates her money to charity, and mopes around about how Malcolm turned out. (Malcolm is a villainous secret agent who spends his free time trolling on the internet.) After work Nancy usually goes out for drinks with her bestie Clara Bjergsen and they hit on attractive young women at the bar. (Meanwhile, Bjorn is at home falling in love with the au pair and writing gloomy poetry.)

there is certainly reason why Bjergsens are enemy of vlad and landgraabs enemy of goth it was all predetermined by fate

I cleared up my old sims saves that I put in the Gallery due to the necessary CAS changes after I got the update. :| I upgraded my 20th Century sims a bit with the new CAS changes & resaved them in the Gallery. I will be slowly continuing this with each of my different timeline game saves. I only have 5 more game saves to go until all my sims are the way I want them to be. :o
Yup, I'm very controlling when it comes to my sims. :D :p ;)

I have not installed the update yet (for issues related mostly to wants/fears) even though I really wanted to especially for the sexual orientation thing.

I don't really care much for the premades but I'm really excited about the fact that I can finally make Abel's aromantic asexual orientation "official". I'm ace myself so naturally I appreciate the options but with Abel it's more than that. He's an in-game born sim and I didn't have any particular orientation in mind for him (he's Active, Mean, Hot-headed) but then he showed like no inclination for anything intimate via autonomy or whims. That is considering my mod setting which e.g. eliminates idle chatting so everyone's more "aggressive" for anything, yet Abel seemed to always dodge romantic things. It was very natural for me to start roleplaying him as aroace, yet I always disliked the possibility that if someone of my more flirty sims would autonomously approach him, he most likely would accept.
So, really excited that I can now properly roleplay him without a need for mods or player intervention. (But, alas, I'll still need to wait before downloading this update.)

I realized Camille Soto had husband in wedding stories trailer so I edited it so Dominique is only into women but Camille is into both men and women cause that seemed more accurate


and yes re editing these in now :lol:

I tend to ignore the premade Sims, unless my Sims marry them, so I will leave them be.
I probably won't do preferences for my Sims, because I usually keep them with my other Sims I created, or have either gender flirt with a premade until they click.
