Rotational players - how do you play?

- ageing on for active family only, ageing on for NPCs for the last for 4 days of each year so that everyone ages at the same rate
- each household played 4 sim days, switched at 6am on the relevant day
- 7 households played per 28 day season, 28 households played per sim year
- when I get to the end of the year, I replay the last 7 households I just played so that every household moves ahead to a different season each sim year
- I try to keep each household as different as possible so that I get plenty of variety - ie. rich, poor, singles, couples, families, occults, different age ranges, pets or no pets, different worlds, different aspirations, different jobs, some go to uni etc etc.
- I like to make sure that played households interact with at least a couple of my other played households - generally the ones who live in the same world or work together
