I know how people will be forced to lie for damage control but this is just dumb now. THE GURUS have confirmed that the game's engine is so limiting that it can't even handle new animations for a lounge chair.

I think she was not 100% honest. Tech can mean anything lol (no new computers to work, no budget for tech, no programmers lol). I think the game can handle a lounge chair, as much as beards XD
What I noticed though is that making necklaces for sims 4 or beards is kinda harder with the sliders you just pull like in sims 4 CAS. I know because is very tricky to devise a necklace out of the blue not cloning an existing one. Plus havent you noticed there is no long necklaces that go till the chest or belly area? People at sims studio workshop said is because they would sink in the chest and would be very hard with the way the developed CAS and meshing how to make the chest increasing with a slider not to hide or make the weight of the necklace sink into the chest. So I think that is what she meant.
