Does anyone remember the robots from Sims 2? (as an example). They had their very own walking and movement animations to make them distinct and have their own personality.I just got done watching the Jungle Adventures stream, and saw the Skeleton WALKING LIKE A NORMAL SIM. He was walking around with those same animations our sims walk around in based on their emotional mood.Was it so difficult to animate the Skeletons properly so they could feel distinct? Rather than feel like a sim wearing a costume? Because that's what it looks like.Disappointed!

The walk wouldn't change.

Good. The Mummy/Zombie walks in sims 3 were the most annoying thing in the world.

I'm sorry everyone, I guess I'm in the wrong for being the only one in this thread looking for quality in this game. If reskins of everything is enough to make you fork over money, then more power to you I guess.

Saw the stream.. Skeletons walk the same as a normal Sim.

Never crossed my mind. Maybe @SimGuruNinja can comment on the skeleton animations.

Well, when a Sim is transformed, it's technically a curse, so it's still the same Sim. The walk wouldn't change.

I'm not trying to make a logical argument here. I just want content in my game that isn't a reskin. If a new race is added, it should be it's own thing. Not just a reskinned sim.

So if we disagree we don't appreciate quality?

I don't want an annoying or slow walk style.

They have unique idles, interactions and dances. That is enough for me.

Yea, zombies, and mummies took forever to walk somewhere. Although nice but very annoying.

Technically, a skeleton is an UNskin, not a reskin. Reskin doesn't happen until the curse wears off.
