Scenarios Coming To Base Game

I just closed my current game and found a tiny update for it waiting.

I'm not one to like challenges at all, even a scenario appals me but I'll try anything once.

This scenario thing... well....

I don't even know what to say. At best it's quite confusing. Hope the situation behind these stuff will be clearer later.
Also no spooky surprise ? Like, even the announcement of an occult cooming soon would have been something.

I didn't watch the stream, was that the big reveal they made a whole livestream for? Was there anything else?

I wasn't even expecting much from the livestream and yet some how I'm still disappointed.

The main problem I see with Scenarios is that the game cannot "count" complicated things. You see this clearly with the new - and utterly broken - Self Care Specialist Aspiration: Neither can the game register 5.000 S earned with care activities only nor can it count ten treatments of a regular client. So I think we will never get beyond simple challenges like "Earn 1,000,000 S somehow".

There was more, they were absolutely thrilled to announce that one already existing hairstyle from a stuff pack will be added to base game.

Typing money is faster than starting a new scenario. Why should I do this?
I programmed a better scenario starter on my own with different randomizers for startingbudget, aspirations, professions, different goals and so on. This would be a nice thing to have in the game but the scenarios are just boring.

They did say that there would be other scenarios with more restrictions than the first two, but I find it hard to believe it would be enough to be called a "challenge" (likely why they chose to call them "Scenarios" instead). Try as I might, I simply can't force myself to get excited about these things. They don't work well with my preferred play style, so I'm unlikely to ever do any except maybe for test purposes.

Wasn't this livestream supposed to be "spooky" theme? This update doesn't seem Halloween themed at all...
