(SE) Which are you more excited for?

To be honest what's making this pack so exciting for me is the combination of BOTH!?? I just can't believe it. Two great themes in one. Whoever thought if this, great idea!!

But I agree I definitely always wanted an east Asian world and I love japan. I also have many asian sims that I don't define as a particular race but they would go perfectly there.

Though I do wonder why south asia (my home) seems to be so unpopular in comparison ??? we have so many beautiful things lol.

both are exciting but weve had asian themes in previous sims games like 2 and 3. but never have had a winter escape before. so its a brand new theme with snowboarding and sledding and stuff. but that fact that its both winter themed and a japaneese them makes it even better. i think it might end up being a really cool world.

I am excited for both themes. We know what the winter theme will bring. I am curious about the Japanese theme what it will bring besides the build items. I hope we get tea.

Japanese theme and HOTELS (fingers crossed those are comming). The actual snowy part of the pack is what I'm least interested about lmao. But still, I like it.

I think people just don't know as much about south asia as they know about east cause media is media and marketing is everything

Both are pretty interesting ngl, I'm happy (from what little I've seen) that it's going to be more "Japanese-Asian" themed over "American-Asian" like Get Together was (which was the real let down of the pack, and the sims overall, like it just feels too "American", even when emulating other cultures).

Completely agree about what an awesome combination that is! I voted Winter because that's the one I've been whining about a little longer, but I'm also very excited for the Asian aspect of the world.

May I ask what exactly you mean by South Asia? Like in the direction of Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia? I have to admit I don't know much about that part of the world (never left Europe), except for pictures of the cities and landscapes that I've seen, but I would definitely be open for a world like that as well!

hold that thought tho cause we did indeed have snowboarding and other types of winter activities in seasons type packs before and mountainous vacation world with snow i believe at least in sims 1 vacations

but at the same time true I am curious how they will do it in ts4 since it just seems more interesting with the world

Lol, not that kind of tea. I want expensive Japanese tea in pretty tea cups drank while sitting down on the tatami not while standing by the fridge.
