Seasonal Lot Marker Marker in Sims 4 Seasons??

That's one of the things I was wondering about, I really hope that have something like that. I don't mind doing the homes so much, but it would be a pain to have to go around & redecorate every venue at each season change.

Yeah, it really made my town come alive. I would use it to even do things like put deck chairs around the community in summer and then hid them in winter. You could even use it to change the pillows colours on your sims couch throughout the year.

The TS3 Version was very complicated to use. I'm hoping that they have placed it within the game itself so we have it from the start. Grant said changes are coming to the neighborhoods.

I know it is unlikely but I'm trying to be hopeful? We've lost out on quite a few features from previous releases and so they have to give us something? :)

Yes, that would be awesome, the TS3 version was rather finicky and more than once I had to redo stuff as I placed it on the wrong "level".

True while the seasonal lot marker was brought in as part of the seasonal festival lot, the lot marker could be placed and used on any lot including residential. So you didn't have to use it for festivals.

I love that feature in TS3.
I used it mainly for my big park. All the food booths would change for the appropriate season, as well as all the physical activities.
My beach areas would be empty of objects during the winter, but would liven up for the summer with all kinds of things to do.

I also used it for my video arcade, so it would be festive for Halloween and Christmas.
I would love to see it return in TS4. There was no way I was going to decorate those lots each season. I only had to do it once and they would change automatically.

If what they did in City Living is anything to go by, don't get your hopes up.

To be honest, City Living in it's entirety made me not get my hopes up about The Sims 4 EPs...

I definitely remember that feature, OP.

That's why I love TS3 so much, the innovation was off the charts. That one feature that came with Seasons probably became my favorite build/buy asset of all time. It put immense power into the hands of the player. <3

I don't think that we'll be getting its equivalent in TS4, however. But if we did, I would buy this version of Seasons so fast -- no hesitation, snow or no snow!

Those are the kinds of features that are worth whatever sacrifices EA may have needed to make. Yet, oddly enough, that feature was included in TS3 Seasons plus a whole boatload more. That pack was filled to the brim with goodness. The only other one that I enjoyed nearly as much was Island Paradise.

EA is such a profitable company. I wish that they would take some of that profit from the Sims and use it to hire a second EP development team. It would remove some of the load from the present team and, almost certainly, improve overall quality of the EPs.
