I'm wondering if decorations etc. will also be planned/scheduled/automated from the calendar. (Could work similar to setting up Club outfits for sims that they only use at those times).
So for Autumn you want to have Spooky Day, day 3 Fall, then Harvestfest, day 6 Fall. Both of these have decorations, but not the same ones.
Perhaps you can schedule Spooky Day decorations up from 1-3 Fall, and Harvestfest decorations from 4-6 Fall.
Once the dates are chosen, you can click on the event and choose to "Setup in build mode"
Set decorations, furniture, activities etc, and sit back and watch it change on the day.
