Hello Seasons - hate it. winter is endless, rains constantly, hate the restrictions on gardening. How do I 1) Turn off the entire EP? 2) Leave the pack installed but deactivate winter and fall? ...

I have been enjoying it, but it also introduces a number of challenges. Just look into it first. You need to watch out for how weather will affect things you have outdoors, have doors not just arches to decks/outside, deal with a thermostat for extreme weather, etc. I did not get it for a while because of that, but I have been having a lot of fun with it, gardening (though you should do any splicing you want first because currently it breaks the splicing/grafting for rare seeds/fruit/flowers - unless the grafting was done before and you harvested what you needed from that). The snow is so fun, though, and I am loving the gardening and flower arranging -- and you can even build and use a greenhouse to grow year-round (otherwise plants only bloom in their season).
