A Swedish online gaming store have seasons available for preorder. It says the release date is 22-06-18 though. Have they ever announced an EP that shortly before release? Or is it a placeholder.https://www.discshop.se/spel/pc_mac/the_sims_4_seasons/P158592

The store is real, If that’s what you’re doubting, I’ve ordered from there myself and have had friends do the same (I am Swedish). As for why they would use fan box art, I don’t know. Either they heard rumours and added it to be first or they got information but didn’t have any box art and searched the internet.

Then I guess it's true!!! :) It would really be a shorter time between announcement and release date this time around and it might also mean another EP before the year ends.

I bet they have just picked some picture from google as a place holder, I really hope the date is correct :smile:

The store is real, If that’s what you’re doubting, I’ve ordered from there myself and have had friends do the same (I am Swedish). As for why they would use fan box art, I don’t know. Either they heard rumours and added it to be first or they got information but didn’t have any box art and searched the internet.

I can confirme too that it's a real shop, I have ordered there sometimes (though I'm Finnish not Swedish). I bet they have just picked some picture from google as a place holder, I really hope the date is correct :smile:

I assume June is correct because they invited all the youtubers to ea play. Maybe they will allow them to play it there at ea play rather than hold an official sims camp.

June 22 is a Friday, which might be the new EP release days following Cats and Dogs (also released on a Friday).

Well honestly I can see them moving the EPs to June. I always wondered if they were losing money having them released in November. I personally just waited for the Christmas sale and get it for 50% off. Why pay the full price when I knew a Christmas sale was right around the corner. Maybe they will release game packs or stuff packs in November instead.

Gosh if it releases June 22 it means I can play it non stop for two weeks if I want. That's the day I go on holiday for eight weeks but don't have any set plans until two weeks in.

I think they’d want the physical copies for Christmas though. GPS and SPs are only available online.
