Think it was mentioned you can make them as long or as short as needed. I'm assuming that's what the three blank spots are at the top with the three days of winter. The Sims always have had a weird funky length of seasonal days. XD

I'm curious as the what the difference is between holidays and events. Does anyone know?

Maybe it's that holidays are worldwide (say you've got xmas as a holiday; if it's worldwide then non-active households also have that holiday on their calendar too) and events are household-specific?

This is why I haven't planned out all my holidays. I need to be sure about the length of the seasons first.
