Seasons: Does the weather machine work?
I have a few thunderstorms coming up in my game but I’m too anxious to see what they’re like. I’ve got a weather machine that I haven’t used yet; but do they actually work?

I have never seen thunder snow in real life, and I live in Canada, but I must say I really want to experience a thunder snow now, sounds invigorating.
There are videos of thundersnow on YouTube. Jim Cantory from the weather channel has some up.
I'll be sure to check those out!- The first few tries tend to be disaster but after that my sims changed the rain to sunny weather and thunderstorms. If sim has skills they will succeed at once.
- I've only used it once, without success. Then again, the sim had low Handiness. I need to try it again in future.

There actually are thundersnows in The Sims 4. These are supposed to happen rarely I think.
I was searching TwistedMexi's list and found a cheat for thundersnow and dry lightning and tested these out. You can see the results in this discussion.

I have seen them here in Utah. They are very rare, but more common were you have "lake effect" snow like near the great lakes and in Utah the Great Salt Lake.
Wow. I've lived in Utah for all of 11 years, now, and I haven't seen lightning during snowstorms. Now, I shall have to 'look' for it. ;)- I turn off storms for the festivals that use outdoor electronics. Can not use computers or gaming mat.
