- Luckylunayre7 years agoNew SpectatorThe only benefit to pre ordering is that you have the money already set to the side. A lot of times you can download it early I think? Not play but download.
- there's never a pre order incentive. It doesn't even take money from you until the day it comes out (at least in my experience)
the only "incentive" is maybe getting to play a minute or two earlier from not having to spend time buying it on release day. - marjia7 years agoSeasoned NewcomerWow, and they earn interest on money they collect now, why would I want to do that? Seems like Pre-order should offer an incentive.
Thanks, Guess I'll hold on to my money till they release it. - Luckylunayre7 years agoNew Spectator

They used to and people got angrily, rightfully so. I started sims 3 in the middle of showtime, I had missed out on all of those pre order bonuses that I could never get.
Pre order incentives are the plague of the gaming community when they offer exclusive items. "Marjia;c-16490031" wrote:

I'll get it when it goes on sale. Still waiting on JA.
I enjoy the packs I've bought, but even on sale it seems pretty crazy how much I've spent on the game. Full price is just not gonna happen.- marjia7 years agoSeasoned Newcomerpre-order should get it a few days early, in my opinion.
- Pre-order for me is more like freeing myself of the worry that I might not have the funds to afford it in a month. I don't like incentives/perks, I think they exclude later audiences.

Im not sure
I pre-ordered Get Together and City Living, and at my credit card the price was when it was launched
If you live out of USA and with devaluation, you will notice it. In fact I pre-ordered those packs speculating to save money (ordering before than USD become higher), but still my credit card was charged when pack was released (with USD higher)
