- Joanne_SnowRising TravelerHonestly, none.
No freebies, can't play earlier, could just literally set money aside, doesn't download earlier (alright, SOMETIMES, it might become visible in Origin a measly 5-10 minutes earlier, but rarely)
But in the case of Seasons, it just makes me feel good <3 - LuckylunayreNew SpectatorThe only benefit to pre ordering is that you have the money already set to the side. A lot of times you can download it early I think? Not play but download.
- there's never a pre order incentive. It doesn't even take money from you until the day it comes out (at least in my experience)
the only "incentive" is maybe getting to play a minute or two earlier from not having to spend time buying it on release day. "leo3487;c-16490359" wrote:

Im not sure
I pre-ordered Get Together and City Living, and at my credit card the price was when it was launched
If you live out of USA and with devaluation, you will notice it. In fact I pre-ordered those packs speculating to save money (ordering before than USD become higher), but still my credit card was charged when pack was released (with USD higher)
That was my experience as well. They've never taken money from me for an EP until the time it gets released. So it's not even a way to set aside the cash or something like that. It's literally just pointless :(- Hang on. Please help me out as I'm a bit lost. I've pre-ordered before now and found no real benefit other than not having to buy it on the day. They let me know when they take the money out and I have never noticed anything go wrong. What is this about interest?
- EA Stopped doing Limited editions after sims 3
- marjiaSeasoned NewcomerI think I'll wait so I know how much money's in the bank when i buy it.
- I just preordered the game and it did take the money from my account already. Just checked my online statement and shows the funds came out like 2 minutes ago.
- There is never an incentive.

I preordered on the 11th of June and the money has already came out of my account (same day) so they do not hold it until the release date.
