Seeking Back Stories - Fulfilled, thanks!

I need to reupload my sims so they can have updated skills and careers.

:) I'd love to see some of my sims in others game, BUT I have a default CC skin in game, so the gallery just labels all sims as modded, but it's a very subtle skin that doesn't change much of anything about them.

I have a family that I've been playing for quite some time now. When my sim (Elyse) was a teen she met Wolfgang Munch (now Colten Munch, I didn't like his name) and they fell madly in love. They grew up and got married. Now they have one toddler (Calise) and another baby on the way. I recently moved in Grandma (Mila Munch) to help take care of the kiddos while my sims are at work. Colten is a 2 star celebrity, who earned his fame mostly through his tech career and his app designs. Elyse is a chef, and aspiring musician. Elyse was my original sim, so she has quite a bit of skills. They all have earned some extra traits. They are by far my most "well played" family.

I can add them to the galley today. Although this family is fairly well established already. However, baby Calise has a pretty good background story, since she is the 3rd generation of the Munch family, and young enough that she doesn't really have a chosen path in life yet.

I have quite a few Sims on the Gallery that have backstories. Most of them are unplayed/unskilled, so the backstory is really just a story nothing more. You can find them on the Gallery (ID: MDianaSanders) and if you want to read a more extended backstory, you might want to visit my Simblr (although my more recent upload have less of a backstory).

Have you ever thought to make a savegame with your builds and sims available for download @MDianaSaunders ?

I've recently been exploring downloadable save games... most are too family oriented for my tastes but it's a great to look through. Some put the family bios right in so it's kind of like playing the EA sims with backstories if you want to go that way.

My sister has remade a lot of the Sims from handheld Sims games on our shared gallery account, Terra575. You could download them and look them up on the Sims Wiki for their backstories if you've never played the games. :smile:

I have some early households I made with interesting backstories and not exactly standard pretty faces on my Gallery, but I'm sure I have a lot more available too. Are you looking for quirky family groups? Single parents? Just singletons? Odd couples? I have some examples for you:

Fedora Dan, a quirky, and odd person who just wants to make it out there in the world with blogging (and always wears a fedora)

Kazuhiro Mitsuji, my 50 follower special who is a minor vampire yakuza bodyguard looking to expand his crime family's criminal influence into San Myshuno

Obuya Oluseyi, aka the Death Dealer, who traded his soul to Death to see his mother again, but after became Death's agent on the Earth

Xandar Ixion, High Prince of Sixam, who seeks a special alien cleric on Earth that could be the only one to save his ill father from his deathbed

Delphine Angelico, the Space Angel, the very alien cleric the Sixam High Prince seeks, but harbors a secret about Sixam she wishes to keep herself hidden for and is actively trying to run away from it

the ghost of Lady Isabella Kensington, who burned to death during the Blitz in 1941 after trying to escape London; her spirit lingers on seeking to find out what happened to her family

the O'Reilly's, where husband David is a notorious womanizer and wife Wilma has to ensure he gets reined in before his trysts ruin their marriage and family life with their toddler son Cormac to boot

the Castor family, with adult twins Brendan and Bethany now having to live with each other again but now with their kids in tow, finding out what they want to do with their lives now that both of their relationships have turned sour

single starving artist Loretta Lawrence who has to contend with raising her toddler son Daniel alone while also trying to pursue her dreams of becoming a famous artist

Jonathan Reece and his estranged son Vincent Lyons, who recently has had to live with him after having been raised by his mom in France who had a falling out with Jonathan after their relationship ended, and seeks to renew any bond left between father and son

Carlos Slim, a man from the 1970s who was cursed to be a vampire by an ancient Mesoamerican god and seeks to travel to Selvadorada with rumours of a cure that may get rid of his vampiric curse forever

@Hermitgirl I have thought about it! I've actually been working on it for years. Progress is really slow, I get distracted or bored easily and I simply don't have much time, besides I'm a super slow builder.
I have made (and shared) a save game with the premades but 10 years later - you might have seen that here on the forums. The link is still in my signature. But of course, that's only expanding upon the existing stories, so it feels different.
