Also, IIRC, the renders for stuff like this are made by EA marketing outside of the Maxis Studio. - Wackyweirdochic8 years agoSeasoned AceHonestly, teen height adjustment isn't a must-have for me since teens can be as tall or taller than adults irl but I do hope for height adjustments for Sims 5 (if it happens).

Someone could easily edit this photo to make them a bit more shorter than so we can see how it looks.
Not brilliant, but I gave it a go :p

Now they can wear whatever clothes they want. Plus most teens are around the same height as their parents anyways. I just wish Ea would create a height slider already.... Then both sides of this argument can be pleased. I don't want shorter teens though. I love dressing my teens now because the options are limitless, I don't have to fetch here and there for a teen version of cc... It's great (In my opinion).
- Briana25268 years agoSeasoned AceThe only reason I heard the teen agruement about height was they couldn't tell the difference between YA A and the teens well now that the teens will have an upgrade with pimples, mood swings, and clothes you can now tell the difference I do believe. Hopefully this disagreement will be disolved once the parenting pack is in.

@alexandrea I understand what you mean. But I like the diversity in the heights and for a Sims game, I think it is needed. I don't like seeing a child turn into a full grown adult. I feel there should be a height between the child and adult stage. Also the reason the teens are the same height as adults I feel is just to save time and cost, just because there isn't much difference between Adults and Teen. And even though this GP is coming I feel that there should be that diversity in height for each stage. So yeah, I really don't like that gap between the child and teen. If we did have height sliders then the only thing that would matter is giving them their own personality that fits that stage. So, that is my reason and I think others have similar reasons as mine.
As for the clothes, I understand it is easier, however for me I want teens to have their own wardrobe and not dress like their parents and vice versa, so I would have to search for CC that is specifically for teens anyway. lol So I know the pain searching for CC for all ages. :# - Goodywood8 years agoSeasoned Ace

For me it won't, but it will help definitely when the teens act more like teen. I still do want different heights for the reasons I mentioned above. But I know its too late for that with this game. TS5 hopefully will have height sliders. It will take more work, but I would gladly pay the price for it (if done right). o:) - Goodywood8 years agoSeasoned Ace@elanorbreton You did a good job! I can't even tell it was edited really. I made one with the teen even shorter than that, doesn't look as clean as yours though. lol But yeah I do like this height better. :)
- I'll always be slightly bitter that the devs who were working on the base game didn't take a hard enough stance all the way around. I wish they had said to the executives or whatever entity was at fault for putting out a half-baked foundation, 'this isn't the game we want to make, this isn't acceptable, we could do better, etc.' I realize people have contracts and need to make a living but it makes me sad when devs/artists clearly don't fight for the quality of their work.

I really want to see how you feel if or when you install the parenting pack if you still feel the same.
