you can mark up prices when you sell them off the portable gallery, you will never get as much from just selling them off the easel.
@ op, i sell them from my sim's front yard, you have to initiate a yard sale first iirc. just make sure to lock your sim's front door, otherwise the yard sale goers will make themselves at home.
