Selvadorada's Dance Moves

Hello
I would like to know if it's possible that sims from willow creek (for example) will dance the new moves of jungle adventures while they are not in selvadorada. I'm making a wedding event in a venue in Windenburg, and I want my sims to dance the latin moves. i don't know if it's possible but i really want it. and by the way- Can i plan a social event in Selvadorada, in a public lot like bars?
Thanks.

I actually saw my cultured Sims dancing the new dances autonomously to the city festival music (those speakers that are unavailable to us that play different music at each festival) and when I clicked on that it gave me the option to dance regularly or dance the RumbaSim, which is quite an interesting find indeed.

To be honest unless I actually tell my sim to dance - this particular sim will never choose to do it on her own. Her focus is fitness and scientific pursuits over what I consider fun thing like dancing. Most of my sims fun meter go up when dancing - but not this sim. Her fun meter goes up when she is doing archeology tasks, exercising, star gazing, studying certain skill - especially playing chess or using a telescope. She also seems to enjoy talking to other Sims, but not partying. Perhaps this is a factor.

Believe me - even I find her different than many of my more fun loving sims. All she really thinks about is rocketships. LOL.

Yes, you should be able to as long as you're there.
Outdoor Retreat added Weenie Roast social event that was meant for camping. I can throw a social event while on vacation in my game.
  • Also, you need to have at least Selvadoradian Culture lvl 4 in order for Sims to learn the new dance moves.
  • So far my sim has no issue doing the dance at home as long as I have her put on the latin radio channels.

I'll have to see if she will do that dance at the clubs at home in Windenburg - that I have not tried yet.

Actually you can do Selvadoradian dance moves with any music, even Easy Listening haha. Just simply choose the option to 'Dance the RumbaSim' for them.
  • Actually I only seen that option come up when I put on one of the two Latin channels at my Sims home. She tends to do the other dances (she also has topped the dance skill) with the other channels with no options to do the Rhumbasim so far anyway. She just does them. I wonder if it matters that my sim prefers doing more studious or fitness activities than she cares to dance. Even though I managed to make her master all the dance skills - she does not seem to really care for dancing. Perhaps this has an impact on this particular Sim. It's a thought anyway.

But Like I said I will see if it matters at the clubs.

I know when she is on vacation though - she gets options to do all the dances .

ETA: My sim does not have the dance machine trait or any music related trait at all - not sure if that matters or not. She's an astronaut (level 8), and has all traits and skills etc to do with that career - like fitness, logic, genius, etc. Again not sure if it matters or not.

  • I don't think you can plan a wedding though. I tried and couldn't elope either You get a message like "Cannot plan social event during vacation".
