Pollinator #1 Is the Dept Head and does not go out in the field, too many administrative responsibilities. Pollinator #2 is the assistant to the Dept Head and is also an administrative position. Pollinator positions #4+ are largely interns and trainees, lab techs and scientists or in records and archives and therefore are not fully qualified for field work. So, that leaves the #3 Pollinators as carrying the primary responsibility of going out in the community and implementing the interspecies cross-pollination work.
