Yikes, thanks for reminding me about this bug. I'm a couple of updates behind, so I'd forgotten about it. My main sim has several knitting projects on the go, and it would be a problem if she couldn't finish them. Apparently there's a mod bug fix (Knitting Bug Fix by woahlookatthesun), but I haven't tried it. 

Still waiting to see whether save errors or save corruption are a problem with this patch. In the meantime, I see that some people are having random issues like not being able to request a table at a restaurant while on a date. A few people are also reporting not being able to build, which is very troubling, but it might be a DX11 issue. (Seems like DX11 is enabled by default with this patch; some people might need to switch back to DX9.) Keeping an eye on that for sure. 

And of course, many mods need updating again...

I agree. I will not play my normal save for the event, and I'm not sure I'll even try to get them all. The gramophone, definitely (I hope it's not limited in what it plays), but that looks like the first one. I also like the new tattoo, and if the coffin had been earlier in the challenge, or if I actually find the challenge fun, I might go for that. But if I don't enjoy the challenge I will just ignore it if that is possible. 

I'm soooo happy with this update! My game has never run this smoothly. Normally my PC sounds like a jet engine. My only gripe is that it has taken a ridiculous number of years to address most of these bugs. They should have been fixed years ago. Having said that, please keep this up Sims team!

I must admit I am a bit nervous for this patch. Will the tech upgrade require more specs from a low-end computer? Or are the changes actually making the game depend a little bit less on specs? I'm happy with the current status, I can live with the lag I have. A new computer lies far ahead, no way I can give priority to that right now. So, I worry the changes will crash my system... Hopefully someone on the low-end will post something to calm my nerves, LOL.

If there was free stuff, I sure didn't see it when I updated my game.

Did this fix Cupids Corner sims not showing from the gallery that you saved as a favorite? I couldn't get any answers on Twitter so I'm asking here.

Just checked AHQ. Looks like at least one new save error was reported that's serious enough that EA chimed in and asked for save files before the report was even an hour old. There's also another new report about saves not loading. Guess I'll skip this update too.

I suppose this means I won't be grinding for freebies in the event next week, but it's not like the rewards are game-changing. I rarely think about the login event rewards I got last time.
