Serious Actor
Has anyone had a sim who got this quirk without cheating it? I have a five star celeb and 10-skill actor, who has spent his entire career choosing dramatic roles, and nowadays only ever takes the movie gigs that require dramatic acting prep. He also does dramatic monologues and practices dramatic scenes with his actor friends a lot. How long does it take to get serious actor because it's been ages, and nothing happens. I've had to buy loads of quirk-b-gone for him to get rid of other quirks and keep one slot open for this one. I know I could easily cheat him this quirk, but I really think he's done enough to earn it by now.
Maybe it's just the way I play, but my famous sims get some quirks - phone fanatic, public number and vain streeet - all the time and others never. I've not ever had a sim get brushes with fame or juice enthusiast either, though admittedly I've never gone all out and tried to achieve them the way I have serious actor for this one sim. I actually created his personality and story with the idea of him eventually getting this quirk back when GF came out, that's how long I've been waiting for him to get it.
I'd be interested to hear other players' experiences with this. Should I keep trying or give up and cheat it?
