Seriously Devs stop putting sims in random outfits!

I am so sick of this at this point. I take the time to makeover and give all my Sims good outfits. Then whenever I see them around town they are wearing pink pants a green top and a dumb hat... Why...

If I'm being honest, the accessories are WAY out of control too. I know sometimes some people make questionable fashion choices but do they have to make same mistake all at the same time? I'm still trying to get over the bushy beard trend that seems to be plaguing my game. Along with the horrible hats. Just say no to top hats. Some sims can only be saved with the delete button.
