Seriously, what's the logic behind bills anyway?

My sim's house isn't particularly big or fancy, I've stopped using the thermostat and rather have the sim dress according to weather (although it looks silly when they wear winter clothes inside), and...

I recently started my Sims growing Money Trees and Dragon fruit ... they sell the fruit every morning and can get upwards of 30k per tree everyday, provided the Sims take care of the plants. Both the trees and the fruit are top quality.
