Servo Bot & Sim Issues since installing Eco Lifestyle

Since getting Eco Lifestyle there has been one issue after another. First I had to uninstall and reinstall the entire game... including all the packs... because for some reason it removed it my base worlds and some items from other packs.

After that was resolved and started a new game I have now encountered another issue. My Sims have a Servo Bot in the household, but it seems everytime my male Sim travels anywhere he either becomes a Servo Bot himself while away from home or upon returning home. This happens regardless if the Servo Bot travels with him or not. This is very frustrating because now I have to start all over again which usually takes me hours.

Is anyone else having a similar issue or knows how to fix this?
