Setting front of lot?

Question

Ok, I read that this can be done by turning on testingcheats true, then shift, ctrl clicking the ground where you wish the front to be.  It doesn't seem to work though.  I'm trying to set the plot of land the Tutorial home can be placed on because all the other houses on the street face the sort of dead end/ Cul de sac face one another but the lot front for this property is to the side.  Anyone happen to know how to set the front of the lot in Sims 4?  I know it can be done...I watched James Turner do it in a video at some point but he never said how and the google solution doesn't seem to work.

Yes, TS3 had a lot of tools that TS4 sadly still doesn't have.Mylita

Some lots will show the front view but there are others which show the side view.

That thing you've read about was for The Sims 3.

If you accidentally built a house facing backwards, you can rotate the entire lot. (Or, everything on the lot.) The actual location of the front and back stay the same, as far as I know.

Is it a square lot or a rectangular lot? Because as mentioned before you can just rotate the lot. But since you need to rotate it 90 degrees you'll probably lose some of the build unless it's a square lot.
