Share Your Approach/Strategy for the Romance Scenario

I gave the Romance scenario a go and enjoyed it, setting in place a process for playing it. I am sure there are many ways to attempt this scenario. I don't see this scenario as a challenge to ...

My approach: I deleted the Pancakes, downloaded them as a new couple, and had them set up with this scenario just so they would have the negative sentiment towards each other. I'm leaving the scenario alone for now and playing around them. A very quick and easy way to make the Pancakes match their in-game description.
