In anticipation of the new Royalty and Legacy pack, I thought it would be fun to share screenshots and stories of Sims in our games who are destined for the throne or royal households. I've seen comments from several simmers talking about some of their gameplay and households who already fit this pack, and their plans for using it, and I'd love to see more.
So share your nobility, commoners, peasants, villains and ideas here, and we can inspire each other with tales both young and old, of scandal, fantasy, destiny and fate. ๐ธ๐๐ท๐บโ๏ธ
I play a modern kingdom, reigned by royal House of Luxe-Hamper. But I also have the tropical Sea kingdom, where the Oceanus tribe reigns, they are blue skinned and said to hail from mer people. The 3rd is a not-so-friendly Empire of Snorthia, controled by the Sloth family. All 3 families had the power for several generations.
I'm out of town, so the pictures might have been posted previously.
House of Luxe-Hamper is lead by HRM King Tarriot. With Queen Consort Venezia he has 4 children, all aged around 20-25, on the step to grow up. Their daughter HRH Crown Princess Emireza will replace her father some day, while destiny is not set in stone for her brothers, Prince Bazil, Prince Cecil and Prince Marcuz. The royal palace is located in Del Sol Valley, not a good pick re the pack functionality as there are mainly community lots and rather few residents - and no nobility...
King Tarriot's brother Prince Blaise resides with wife in Britechester. Wyvern Hall is made into a classy estate. They have 2 children, Princess Evendice and Prince Marquis, both YA in University.
My main kingdom has a large organization of traditional nobility, including 5 dukedoms, 5? counties and a number of baronies. In addition there are many Mesters - they don't count as nobility, but is seen as Aristocracy, and I assume I will include them in the nobility career. Titles are inherited according to each peerage's letter of patent, so I will probably not focus a lot on rivalries and climbing the Nobility career.
The Oceanus family in Sea kingdom resides (had to pretend) Selvadorada, in their Lily Palace. My plan is to have their main residence in Verdemar.
The King and his Queen has 2 grown up sons. The oldest, Crown Prince Longjaw, is heir to the throne and married with one child. The youngest son, Prince Weaver, is single, and there were rumors that he might be on the short list of possible partners for Crown Princess Emireza, but I guess this must be reconsidered with the new pack.
Sea kingdom has no nobility. The old system of Chiftains is no longer operative. The culture is not so much based on power anyway, so I won't pay much attention to them.
The Sloth family, head of the Empire of Snorthia currently resides in their palace in Mt Komorebi.
Emperor Orchard is married (pictured right), and he also has a Concubine (stabding behind him). The two teens on the left are with his wife, while IIRC he has one son an one daughter with his Concubine. The pictured son (red) has grown into a YA since this photo was taken. There was plans for a wife from one of the protected families, but with the Darong dynasty going to be located in this empire, the plan must be reconsidered...
Empire of Snorthia has only one noble family aside of the Sloth family, but there were originally 21 protected families, and some of these are still around. They have a system of 3 levels of Princi, so I am pleased that we can modify titles in the Nobility career.
I have an online history book covering all 3 nations, with plenty of more detals.
These nobility Sims look awesome! I love how the new Royalty & Legacy pack lets you really role-play their stories โ from rising through noble ranks to building dynasties and ruling different worlds. Iโve been using the noble career with one of my families and it adds so much depth and drama to everyday gameplay. Canโt wait to see what other creative stories everyone has built with their nobles! ๐
What an interesting history! Personally, I suspect that Lord Charles was never deceased but perhaps was captured by pirates - and judging by his Lady's scar, I think she's a secret pirate and arranged the whole thing - it's a scandal I tell you! Lol
History would be rewritten for (young adult) Lady Georgia Lambeth (she wouldn't have her eye scar) and her deceased (adult) husband Lord Charles Lambeth (lost during the sinking of the LUSIMTANIA)! Don't have a screenshot of Charles - D'oh!
Georgia's diamond necklace is currently all that is left of her wealth, after the loss of her husband.
With this pack, I'd be able to revive Lord Charles, bring him and Georgia back together (though their marriage was an unhappy one in later years), and MAYBE they can settle their differences, and have a happier marriage...
Having Yusei being a single dad of two illegitimate daughters definitely "spiced things up" (which is one reason why I enjoy using mods). ๐ And yes, it's definitely scandalous.... Especially if the Nobles finds Yusei, Ella, and Tatum's current family trees. ๐คญ
Yes indeed! Six male cousins of Emperor Roman have different ethnicities inspired by the live action version of The Little Mermaid (2023). And it sure is, because Stygia's attribute is mostly to be light while Astaroth's attribute is mostly darkness.
Ah! Illegitimate daughters! That's the scent of a scandal waiting to happen. If Yusei gets tangled in with the Nobles, he might have to lock down that secret or his reputation could suffer! (I love a scandal story, lol)
Wow, that's quite a family lineage! I love how there are so many different cousins in various regions and I love the sprinkle of fairytale in there. Stygia is an awesome name for a Unicorn. ๐
Mine isn't really mythical either, and honestly I don't how Laura Starr and her two housemates will fit into Royalty & Legacy (if I decide to get the expansion pack).
To make things a little bit interesting.... One of Laura's housemates, Yusei (he's the one with the black hair), is single, but he has an adopted daughter, Mollie Sutton (child), and two illegitimate daughters, Ella Hoffmann (infant) and Tatum Alcala (newborn).
