@LiELF thats so cool! I can’t wait to try it out myself! And I totally agree, poisoned mermaids look good - I’m impressed they put the visual effects on the tails!

I understand there is a brave trait that can be bought via rewards but it's a whopping 8000 points apparently so I found a mod on the broken mods thread where a modder has made it to be available in cas. I am not honestly sure at this point what if any other traits have an impact with paranormal gameplay but i hope so :)

Well, Self-assured vs Paranoid/Squeamish should make a difference, I hope. Yes, 8000 is way too costy when we shall pay with points that still focus on buying bee hives and starting club gatherings. My sims actually work hard just to et the §1000 store traits.

You'd think toddlers would be the most scared of thunderstorms. Nope, still just very sad...does the fear emotion affect toddlers? Sorry if I missed someone talking about it earlier on here, didn't have time to read all the posts

My child age sim went swimming in the community pool and got a scared moodlet from fearing stepping on a soggy bandage or something? LOL. She doesn't have any traits that might cause her to be fearful. It was delightfully random, but overshadowed by 2 or 3 positive moodlets, alas.

As we don't have a death option in this new pack I downloaded a death by terrified mod and put 4 roomies in a new house to see what would happen.. Lot traits (mod) possessed grounds spooky and creepy crawly.

While the roomies were eating dinner the first ghost showed up :)

Hudson (the darker haired male sim) is the only sim out of 4 is the one that is scared..

The other 3 sims don't try help him and sims do not start screaming to be calmed down? so the next thing is Hudson has died

everyone is crying even Grim and the ghost that scared him to death in the first place-) but the overriding emotion for everyone else is the sad moodlet

Admittedly I used a mod so terrified sims could die but this as a first attempt is not really what I expected. I thought they would all be scared because as yet prior to gamepack release none of them had the brave trait so from this test 3 out of 4 sims never took any notice or react to what was going on until one sims died..

Sorry if I missed it, but are those sims having different traits? Is there a reason why some sims get so scared, while others stay calm? I hope traits and perhaps also knowledge/skills makes for a difference somehow.

I think they were just programmed to react certain ways to certain stimuli, but it's really too new to be sure. I liked seeing a variety of responses, it shows that a lot of work did go into it. So I really hope that they plan to do more with it, particularly with existing Occults.

Yeah I'm trying to Have my Spell caster inspire fear when he walks into a room.
So far one of my sims is scared of Thunder Storms.
I wonder if I cast a Magic dampening spell on another spell caster, Would the spell caster freak out that they can't control/might lose their powers?

Normally I would despise such features on skintones being permanend unless there is a cure but this pictures makes me want my mermaids to have this poison forever. They look Great!

I don't see any reference to toddlers being scared. They definitely aren't scared by thunderstorms. I am not happy. The main reason I wanted the 'fear' emotion was for my toddlers, since 'sad' is ridiculous for toddlers in scary situations. Honestly, I don't care if they don't get new interactions or animations. I don't care if all the developers do is switch out the 'sad' buff with 'scared' for appropriate situations. Just make it available for toddlers. Or I shall throw a tantrum.
