Hello there! One of the events I love the most while playing The Sims is definitely making weddings. Like huge weddings. I always take so many photos, so I asked myself, why don't we share it in one post? It doesn't matter if you use poses or just screenshot the game itself, use the opportunity to show the beautiful dresses. ♥

I LOVE this thread! Everyone's pictures look so amazing! Weddings is one of my favorite things in the game! I always try to find the perfect dress or the perfect venue.
One of my all-time favorite weddings was between my Founder of the Forrester Legacy.....Hayden Forrester & Adrian Forrester. A quick backstory, this was my first legacy challenge. I created Hayden in CAS for my Rags to Riches story and once I completed that, I decided to turn that challenge into a legacy challenge. I wanted to first share these photos of Hayden and Adrian as this is where their legacy started.....

I have only had one wedding in my game so far, and I didn't know how weddings worked before it happened. I thought that they would schedule a date in advance, but the game immediately whisked them off while they were still in the middle of their Strangerville investigation. I didn't know that certain items were required for a wedding, so I selected Island Bluff as the wedding site. To make matters even more complicated, it was pouring rain. Luckily, the groom's best friend, Doug, was rich and paid for all of the items to be shipped there. Doug even had a crew enclose the entire lot so the wedding wouldn't be rained out.

Layke reminds me of Mia from the book Nevernight :smiley: @sunblond Hope Johnny's going to be responsible dad! :D @Rouenpucelle Luck that they got such a friend! Island Bluff is always very difficult place to have a wedding, I tried that once and ended the same, guests started swimming without caring that the ceremony is going on. :lol:

Thank you. And it stressed me out so much less not worrying about the guests sitting. Instead, some of them (including family members) were inside of Erik's newly built house that his own mother and only sister missed the event. :open_mouth: Early on there was a way for the active Sim to call the guests to the wedding ceremony. I just didn't see that option anywhere. Ho-hum. For the most part, anymore, I just have the couple elope.
5. Gen 10 The only gen where I've liked the manmore than the woman. He was a vampire for a minute. But he also was the first sim to try the half active careers and I love making a cause successful. Speak For The Trees with him. Oh and she almost puked as she was making the wedding cake lol
6. Gen 11 The lovely couple. I liked both equally not just the female. He was like an ugly kid who got a hot girl. I think this is the first gen with my new laptop.
8. Another couple in gen 12 The couple sitting are the ones from one up. The other girls were just friends but I loved playing with them. The blonde was a fun colourful sim and the brown haired one was just super cute.
10. Gen 14 Tried playing a non white sim. She was cute but never again cause it's impossible to find make up for this skintone. Also the triplets were so incredibly adorable as tots.
11. Gen 15 A sugar daddy type of relationship. They met in a one night stand and she accidentally fell pregnant. And completely unplanned but they ended up together. She had a crazy life!!!! But so fun!
12. gen 16 My latest. They have twins but when the kids grew into children the parents wanted more kids. So the mum is pregnant again. I haven't played further right now.

It was a small wedding, and rainy, but they seemed happy!
