Should I buy the Cats & Dogs game code on Amazon?

The question is not whether or not I want to buy Cats & Dogs (I do), but whether or not I should buy it using a game code from Amazon. I have some Amazon gift cards, so I would like to buy it on Amazon, however if you look at the ratings, two people have complained that the code they received does not work and they can't get their money back. I'm not sure if the issue is guaranteed or if these people are just unfamiliar with how to redeem a game code on Origin because one person posted and said that they got their code and it worked fine. Personally, I have used game codes off Amazon before and have never had an issue. Has anyone else had this issue with Amazon in the past or with Cats & Dogs specifically? Let me know. Thanks!

    Amazon codes work fine as long as you make sure that the seller is Amazon (the product should have "Sold by Amazon" in its description), whenever I get some I have no issues :smile:

    Now the question is can they beat the current Origin sale prices ?

    Yep, I've gotten game codes from Amazon Prime and they worked fine. The last I noticed the price for C&D was higher than Origin.

    I still have it in my watchlist. I tried to preorder C&D on Amazon, because I heard there was a 10 or 20% discount for Prime users. But it always said that it was out of stock, so I must have been too late. The format it came in was a code that was mailed in a case, from what it looked like. I guess they just ran out of codes. So I ended up preordering it on Origin.

    Thanks for the responses. I prefer to buy on Amazon because I use my Bing Reward points to buy Amazon gift cards, so technically it's free for me on Amazon. The issue is, if I have a problem with the game code, then I'd rather buy, say, Parenthood and a stuff pack and wait until the Amazon issue is resolved than just lose $30.

    Thanks again for the advice. I actually went ahead and bought Cats & Dogs on Amazon, and fortunately had no issues with it! I'm so excited to start seeing all that ep4 has to offer!

    I ordered online and didn't have any kind of problems yesterday entering the code.

    So I bought a Parenthood code through Amazon for a friend over the summer and what happened was I gave her the order number and freaked out when she told me it didn't work. But actually you have to go into your games library and find the code there. I'm guessing that's what happened to these Amazon customers.

    I bought Parenthood on Amazon, it was an online game code, and at 1st it didn't work

    I recently came back to sims 4 and got a bunch of stuff packs via amazon because i had amazon gift card money. If you buy the games sold by amazon and it says something like "digital code" it auto gives you the code no matter what and if it didn't the amazon employees wouldn't have a choice but to refund it.
