Should Sims 4 have an opening video intro?

Onyl if you have the possibility to skip.
It always pissed me off in TS2.

Absolutely not! Used to bug me something rotten having to press a key to skip it.

The novelty wears off really quickly. It's exciting when you play for the first time, but every time after that I just skip it

And TS4 is already an old game, so the novelty isn't even there. Maybe if they made a different opening video for each new pack, it would be worth the time

The old intro videos were good at getting me jazzed up for the game, but as others have said, the novelty wears off. There was a point where I started skipping it entirely because I wanted to get to the game faster. One of the things Sims 4 does well is keep people involved in communities/forums/etc and we get lots of videos for trailers and events, so even though it's not the same, I don't feel like that's missing.

We already have loading screens, why waste more time?

Interesting, but most of ya are kind of right as we may appreciate the video at first then constantly skip it after a while! XD

I think it would've been nice to have an intro, yes.

I like going right into my game - so not having to wait for that is fine by me.

I would watch it once in a while but 99% of the time I skip the intro anyway.
