Should The Sims Stop Collaborating?

I'd like them to continue on the off chance that they collab with a franchise/brand I actually like. So far the collab packs haven't been worse than the normal packs (hoping for them to be better, because they target an audiance outside simmers that is possibly a bit more discerning, was too much).
But EA really needs to get a sort of system behind their collborations, not a random Youtuber girl here, a major pop culture phenomen like Star Wars there and in between the odd fashion/makeup pack.
