- DeepPurpIe6 years agoSeasoned AceI feel like if you pay the top price to cure your pet, they should have an extremely slim chance of getting sick again.

Feel free to click "me too" on my Answer HQ post about this as well. I'm not sure Maxis will ever change this though. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-CD-Pets-needs-are-not-filled-sick-while-playing-another/td-p/6460123 - I wish they'd incorporate a setting to choose if our pets get sick or not. If you're not playing in the vet career, pets being sick is pretty pointless and it's just a hassle to cure them. But even more than that I personally hate the fact that all of the "illnesses" are totally unrealistic. If they were normal illnesses, I probably wouldn't mind them as much, but as it stands, I hope they'll eventually make a setting to prevent pets from becoming sick.
- logionX6 years agoLegendI think they should remove that your pets will get sick when you are not playing them. And they are often hungry and dirty. Which makes no sense. By that logic all the sims in the world would be sick and hungry when you are not playing them.
- dianed4856 years agoSeasoned AceI always have my sims carry wellness treats In their inventory, that way I don’t have to go to the vet.
- Stay away from having bushes of any kind on your lot. They constantly dig in there, get bit by a squirrel and end up getting sick.

same, I just buy as many as they can afford so they always have some and that's the only thing I do at the vets.- dianed4856 years agoSeasoned AceYou have them for free (I think ?) from debug too. I do that when I feel too lazy to make my sim go buy them at the vet.

Were there illnesses in TS3 pets? I feel like they were minor if all all. For some reason I remember flies. - DeepPurpIe6 years agoSeasoned Ace

Oh, I didn't realize these did anything! How often do they snack on them?
