Silly Things Sims Do, Part 3?

Erik, no, moving the plate from one side of the coffee table to the other does not equate cleaning up! (Yeah, I then clicked on the plate and gave him the directive: clean up.)

Please share the random and silly things your Sims do.

Riddle me this: How is is possible for a Sim to carry on a conversation with another Sim, who is behind the wall, in the next room? I saw the conversation bubble in Erik's queue and it indicated he was having a conversation with Kayleigh and Joey. Kayleigh is in Erik's room, sitting on his bed, whereas Joey is in the room next door working on his Term Paper. :open_mouth: My but aren't they so very talented. Either that or someone has some rather sophisticated listening devices … And/or a very good set of ears to hear the muffled sounds through a wall.

Maybe they were using one of those wireless earbud-like gizmos to have a phone conversation? (What are those things even called?)

Real world teenagers will use these to converse with each other when in the same house, on the same floor, even if it's a fairly small house. I have witnessed this firsthand. They can also look as if they're talking to themselves if you don't know better.

Some grown people will do it, too. I have a two-story home with a finished basement. When my grown kids moved in with us for a short time, they used their cellphones to either text or call each other. Craziness.

But I thought they were of the ocean. Now, I'm confused. :open_mouth:
  • Well, that was interesting. Kayleigh was in the room on the back side of the co-ed bathroom in Wyvern Hall. I clicked on the plate of Monte Cristo sandwiches somebody had brought by, but before she could get there, a Teen, Gil, walked by the coffee table and swept up the entire plate. I immediately checked the fridge, thinking he was merely 'putting away' the food. Nope. Moments later Kayleigh reaches this coffee table, and lo, and behold, despite the absence of said plate, she now has a serving. I'm uncertain if I have ever see that before. I'm glad for Kayleigh, but that was strange.
  • One of my Sims wanted to cook with another member of the household, but then decided she was to tired and went to bed. The invited Sim stood beside the sleeping Sims bed and talked about different dishes for a few Sim houres before she finally got to tired and went to bed.

Well, unfinished business being what it is … that's entirely too funny!

I have one teen sim that will not do her homework at her desk, even if I have her sit and start there, she eventually moves to the kitchen to do it.

Lately sims have been walking to the kitchen sink to wash their hands
