But wow ... Someone's Sim just got pregnant through regular woohoo. As buggy as this game is, I'm not surprised. (I like the game, so don't jump on me, people ... but you all have to admit it's buggy.) I actually like this, actually. It adds an element of surprise in there. Maybe it's not a bug, after all, but just a very, very rare chance they put in there on purpose? That would be really cool.

The 3% actually is counting for human error. Like leaving them somewhere really hot (like a glovebox), or a tear, or expiration. If they're used properly, and maintained properly, it's 100% effective.

Im pretty sure this must be a bug or the one of the gurus lied to us :| I don't want unwanted pregnancies in my game.

Yeah, I hope that this isn't a bug but one of those "there's a one in a hundred" chance that "safe" woohoo results in pregnancy. Things like this make the game interesting.

On the same note, does anyone know if townies can get pregnant? Or do they have to be part of a household?

Both, Like isn't that the point of having both woohoo and try for a baby? woohoo you just want them to woohoo, nothing more no less? whereas try for a baby, yes there's the passion but also making, the gift?

Same thing happened to me I think. I had my Sim try for a baby with Nina Caliente then the next day Woohoo with Dina. Both ended up pregnant :|

It was regular woohoo and the girl sim was a townie. I also later noticed in the relationship panel that there was a baby, and it was his son.

LOL I don't have the patience to build up random Sim relationships to have this happen in my game. Maybe I'll have my Sim couple woohoo and see what happens lol.
