Sim loosing job?

Okay, so I recently got Cottage Living expansion pack and I've been playing thing household for a bit now. My sim is friends with Sara Scott (the pub owner) And I noticed that in the household description for her and her husband it said something about them wanting a kid. So I played their household for a few minutes and got her pregnant. But they next day when I took my sim to the market, I noticed that she wasn't the pub owner? \i don't know how to get her job back. I really liked her as the owner. Does anyone know what I can do???
