Sim "Needs A Day Off" tense moodlet

Is there a reason why I get a "Needs a day off" moodlet sometimes after work? Am I doing something wrong or is this normal? What do I do to not get this moodlet anymore? It usually occurs if the sim is high in his career. If I leave him be, the next few days, the tense moodlet changes to a "In Need of a break" and "Definitely needs a vacation" moodlet, just aggravating his stress. I'm not sure what to do to relieve this moodlet, can you help me?
  • Your Sim is working too hard and needs a break. You can also help ease things a bit by changing what they're doing at work. Instead of work hard, you can have them socialize with co-workers, schmooze the boss or work normal. Don't keep that on for too long, or your Sim might not get as much credit for working that day. Keep an eye on their color. If you see they're getting tense, change what they're doing at work! If all else fails, let them take that well-earned vacation day. Also, help them have fun and unwind when at home.
  • It’s normal. The best way to relieve the moodlet is to take a vacation day.
