I don't age my sims up, and prefer to have my household members remain as created. This leaves me with a teen part of my sim family for duration of family gameplay.... which would include multiple seasons.
I said that it defaults to 2 weeks, so it makes sense that by default there aren't any 1-week holidays. You can add your own if you age up your Sims differently.
