Sim prisoners - tips needed to prevent escape

I haven't played my serial killer save i a long while, but I found the same issue. You have to round em back up and get them back locked up right quick.
My serial killer is systematically going through every premade in the game. Last I played, she had the Landgraabs confined. She had to get Nancy as the last one to make sure she got their money when she kills them. But yeah, it's hard to go back to the game the way you left it and have the sims where you left them.
