- Kelleygirl8 years agoNew SpectatorNothing will ever beat Sims 3 for me; hands-down my favorite.
- For me it's Sims 2 then Sims 3 Seasons. That order will probably change with the release of Sims 4 Seasons. :)
- XxAirixX8 years agoSeasoned AceIt seems to closer to Sims 2 but a bit more updated, which is what I am happy about as I love Sims 2 (I really want to be able to play it again). Like a visit from Father once winter again, etc....since we already can harvest things and go fishing from base game, we may get other stuff instead. I loved what I saw about the rain storm in that Jungle Adventure gif.
I will hold off my feelings about Sims 3 as apparently I got reported for that. - Ahh, watching those first two really takes me back. And makes me hope someone converts that ice furniture for TS4! I'd have to say they're all actually my favorite for different reasons. TS2 trailers were so straightforward and cute. The winter outfits? Adorable. TS3 trailers always had a funny twist here and there plus showcasing some of what became my favorite activities at the time. I truly wish the new EP had pie-eating contests and apple bobbing! As for TS4, I like the art style, the expressiveness, and the sort of "storytelling" vibe they have in trailers. Plus those hairstyles for the kids and toddlers? I'm very ready to have those in-game. Also I do love a good bundle of bees to hang out with.

The Sims 3 still has the best Seasons imo, but for it's time, the Sims 2 was revolutionary, and still wins when it comes to attention to little details and gameplay imo. - Oh, now I really miss swimmable oceans. What a great way to spend a summer afternoon. Sunbathing on the beach, building sandcastles and then cooling off in the surf. I also miss lounge chairs and the floating rafts for my sims to relax on.
I am so excited for this seasons pack but the sims 4 trailer looks flat in comparison to the sims 2 and sims 3 trailers. Sims 4 looks stunning but without much actual content. I am ready to be proven wrong however. Either way I am looking forward to having seasons in my game. - I never played Sims3 with seasons, had enough issues with lag/crashing without it.
I love the similarity between 2 and 4 - I’m happy for sims 4 to be an updated sims 2, to be honest. So excited by the Sims4 trailer, the weather is so immersive and has a great balance of old favourites and new experiences. Pre-ordering for sure!
I really hope we have fireflies back, come to think of it! - Beardedgeek728 years agoSeasoned AceSims 2 mostly looks old, which it is. I don't mean that in a bad way, but you can really tell it's an old game.
Comparing 3 and 4: Sims 3 has more featutes, but almost all of those already exist in the game in Sims 4 if you have bought other packs. The only thing Sims 4 don't have is sunburns and ocean swimming. Pool parties, I guess? But then just throw a house party at a pool, and it kinda sorts itself out.
Soccer? You got basketball instead. Pumpkin carving... got that already. Etc.
I also noticed that for all the hoopla about the "fake ball pit"... the leaf heap in Sims 3 seasons was just as fake. It's just as flat (but shaped as a hill, if you know what i mean). - MsPigglyPooh8 years agoSeasoned AceComparing trailers I truly like them all in their own way. I also feel like advertising has gotten alot better as well as changed since The Sims 2. That's all I can really compare right now until I see some gameplay for TS4
