I'm iffy about the open neighborhood concept because I also don't want any invasive story progression. And, I need to have rotational play available and really don't want my Sims being taken over by the game.
World jumping is something I would never want to give up now that we have it. The convenience of being able to visit or move between worlds is one of the best things about Sims 4. To go back to being trapped in one single oversized world feels regressive to me. But I do really hope that we have world tools in the next game because it really stinks to not be able to change the environments.
Yeah. I love being able to take my sims and move them to a completely new map with a different environment. Living in Sulani is very different from living in Brindleton Bay. It would feel stifling to only have one world to chose from.
