Am a student there in the Department of Continuing Education. The programme I am in requires at least one course be done on site and this past July was my opportunity. Have fallen hopelessly in love with 'The city of dreaming spires' and hope to be there again next July. It is amazing to be in buildings that were old before Columbus was even born. If I had the finances and opportunity would move there in a heartbeat.
@Oldeseadogge I studied architecture and a professor that went there showed us projected still images of some interiors at Oxford -absolutely awe inspiringly gorgeous. She said it was neo-gothic revival but looked Gothic to me. I mean nothing here, neo gothic compares. Buildings in England are so old and beautiful- so much better quality construction back then- they stood the test fo time. I wish to one day visit. I was everything in London. I want to visit Cologne Germany - it's #1 on my bucket list.
