I wonder if they will make the Lovestruck dumbbells usable in a patch like they did with the show racks when they introduced no shoes...

Maybe they will put the RV concepts with bands...?

Revisiting existing themes feels like stretching out the sims 4 longer than needed. This is an expensive game and paying twice for themes just feels wrong. I would have loved for them to continue pack refreshes. But I guess this way they can change us for refreshing a theme so from a business point of view it makes sense for them to make us purchase this content.
We have very little information yet, but voicing our opinions both positive and negative should be possible if we do so in a polite manner. Perhaps it is still early enough for the devs to fine tune some things based on reactions. The negative thread for Enhanced by nature already showed concerns about ailments before release. That could have been a clue for the devs to how that particular feature could be received.
The pacing of pack releases is my main reason for not being interested. This will be the fifth EP with only 3-5 months between release (LS, L&D, B&H, EBN and now this ) no smaller releases like stuff packs or game packs. The many kits in between can't replace smaller releases. They are quick fixes with 95% just looks. I haven't gotten my moneys worth out of playing the previous EP. This way the money spent annually is pretty high this way. Not to mention gameplay being interrupted with events. There is a leaked road map that speaks of another timed event during the release of this pack. So I will be busy playing a temporary throw away save for the event, a test save for the new pack to be sure I don't mess up the sims I care about. My main save will be on hold for weeks again, for the forth EP release in a row. Sigh. I am just getting tired.
For the little we have seen so far:
- it feels like a few requests thrown together. All fun but how much sense does it make to bundle romance with kids camps. Perhaps the trailer will change this.
- Archery is something I wanted though I would have preferred it in a stuff pack instead of a big EP that will slow down my game even more.
- Kayaks could be fun if two sims can kayak together. I want to be able to take younger sims along. This is desperately mid when playing a family in sulani
- Bug hunting : if we really get bug hunting then I hope for pack integration with outdoor retreat. Let us find those bugs in another world as well.

Regarding voicing negative opinions and voicing concerns, companies don't tend to mind it because they know that if their customers are not allowed to voice their concerns they often take their words into action where they quit. Allowing people to share their concerns allows this community to stay active.
EA also recently had a survey where they asked us for reasons why we have stopped playing or taking breaks from the game, letting me share my concern here that we seem to very often revisit old themes instead of exploring new ones might make them consider not making an expansion pack based on recycling (eco lifestyle) or something but instead exploring newer themes.

Another thing to notice: for a vacation pack I would have expected hotels. It is a highly requested theme. The zoning features in for rent and businesses and hobbies open the door for building hotels with assigned rooms. So 'breaking away from everyday' should have hotels. Maybe the trailer will reveal them but leaks so far are saying Hotels are not coming. Guess we'll know soon.

With any new pack, people have concerns and critiques, and they want a venue to discuss them. This thread provides that service. If you don't wish to view or participate in such discussions, there are many other threads available to you, along with the ability to create your own discussions. There is really no reason at all for you to be here if you find it distasteful.

First, there still needs to be a complete full 100% repair fix on the whole Sims 4 Game before the new pack.🛠️ Secondly, why isn't there Teen to Adult being able to use the new Archery, not just children alone. 😠

I would imagine the archery set will be available to the other ages as well, it just seems like they wanted to play up the summer camp angle during the teaser. At least, I hope so!

I know this is just a first glance teaser, so my first impression opinion should be taken with a grain of salt, as I can be prone to changing my mind when I learn more.
First, I feel it important to mention that this pack is supposed to cost considerably more than previous EPs. (And the rest of EPs from here on out most likely will as well.) And we're not talking about a $5 or even $10 increase, but half the current EP cost increase. This is the price of an entire game pack. So I think it's fair to say my expectations will be elevated accordingly.
That said, I'm very unimpressed so far. Archery is the one really new thing that stands out so far and I am truly interested in that. The rest however, are, as others have pointed out, features that are either so similar to what we already have, or things that were unofficially "promised" in Lovestruck or other ads. And the clothing so far looks like 2014 Sims 4 base game generic. Bland and uninteresting. (And I have to question if this is going to be a thing now, to encourage the cost of kits.)
I am not against the team filling in the blanks of previous packs, if the content makes the gameplay a better experience. I am also not against a price increase if it means getting bigger and better EPs that actually feel like satisfying EPs.
What I would take issue with, however, is if this pack turns out Iike Businesses and Hobbies where we get one or two new things and the rest is just a revamp and smoothing out of past feature failures, or a few slapped together and poorly implemented ideas. *Cough*, Ailments, *cough*. That, for an additional $20 while the game continues to be overflowing with endless catastrophic bugs, and every screen and shopping cart screams in my face to give EA more money...that - is where a hard line needs to be drawn.
Anyway, we'll find out more very soon and hopefully I will change my skepticism. (Not about the bugs though, because we will no doubt be getting a ton more with the next patch. 😬)

As far as I can see this pack is just $40.00. I think I heard that the development for this ep was super expensive but the final product is priced just like any other ep. The pre-order is listed at $40.
