I really wish they would stop with that puff cloud animation when crafting. I would prefer a simpler repetitive animation. Like when kids draw and they are making crafts in seasons.
The new custom venues look great but feel very similar to small businesses. They both seem to give the possibility to create custom lots where we can determine the behaviour of sims. Custom venues look more promising because as far as I can tell they don't have to be owned. But honestly it almost feels like we get two variants of the same system or principle in half a year time.
Unless I had an hallucination, there was a kid playing with a Rubik’s cube in the trailer. Where is it ?? If it’s “trailer magic” this is not ok.
While I'm feeling mostly positive about the pack, one thing that bothered me on both the Livestream and Dr. Gluon's early access video is early elimination. I hope we can set it so Sims are not eliminated on the first day of a competition. I hope we can schedule when eliminations happen.
It seems like no, but fortunately these rules can be changed during a Getaway. So for the first day, no rules, get them settled in... And then the second day introduce an elimination rule.
Though a negative thought from me: disappointed that Getaways can't be hosted in Vacation Rental lots...
I think that's an idle animation related to some trait, I've seen it before in game, it's not new interaction.

I suppose you could turn them off on other days too if, say, you wanted to have eliminations every other day.
Definitely not new. People already discussed about it in 2022 with High School Years trailer.
Pool stuff and Butterflies (Spring/Summer insect) missing in EP05 Seasons (2018) released 7 years later. It hurts.
I think Ambitious is for career/fortune/fame (reach a goal), Competitive Spirit is for sports/challenges (defeat other people)
