Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Negative Discussion thread.

I think this would be my favorite world if they didn't give you popup for the "festivals". I actually like them. They remind me of the ones in island living. Less of a festival more of a casual neighborhood hang.  Plus if they had included trails. At least in the geyser section.  I really wish Archery was a 10 level skill, entomology too.  It goes by too fast especially Archery.  They didn't set up the custom venues that shipped with the game. come on.  Spin and Weight classes don't work. 

Hair sweating is ... weird as if soaked by the rain.

Custom Venues with Apothecary Tables/Seance Tables, don't seem to be working properly or at all. 

And the activity Tarot is tricky as no pre-made Sim starts the game with one (apparently), placing on the Custom Venue lot does nothing, the player/household actually don't count as a "role" after all, who might have it—won't autonomously do it—like they do with Clubs. So you'd have to gift Tarot deck to the "role type" who is meant to use them, and if they aren't assigned, then each time they refresh as new Sim—you have to do it again.

And so bummed, no banned activities/actions for custom venues...

Custom Venues Outfits - why do we have no 'copy to all' available in CAS like we do normally? And it is a great pity that we are forced to choose all outfits - I want the guests to wear a particular day time 'uniform' outfit but I don't want them all wearing the same pjs when they go to bed...

You can select all of the other guests, it's just not the most intuitive process. I'll see if I can walk  back through what I did the next time I play, and add instructions, unless someone else does first. But if I recall correctly, I believe you start by clicking on the picture of your sim where it says "guest" (visitor, etc.), then it pops up a window where you can select the other guests, similar to the "travelling" option window.

I've set up my Selvadorada archaeology retreat in the jungle base camp premade, and it looks great, but I can't seem to find any archaeology-related activities in the activities menu (even for the table). But, there are a lot of activities listed, so I could have missed it... has anyone else been able to find them?

I must say that custom venues are a bit overwhelming to set. I wish we had more presets. I spent a lot of time creating custom hotel just to notice that by accident I used incorrect savefile...

My issue with new Skip Broke is the vaguety of it all

1. No Brandi, no kids as they don't officially exist in ts4 yet... how am I supposed to drama with sims that do not exist? and will they ever exist again? like should i or should i not create them hmm? will they exist like in future pack or something? sighs.

2. has particularily traits of resurrectable dead Skip (green eyes, romance aspiration) when the Skip non-resurrectable had blue eyes, popularity aspiration and is the actual father of Dustin and Beau... I had always considered Skip green to be clone or twin or something or then I was thinking maybe his eyes were swimming pool turquoise so the people never could tell if they were green or blue anyhow I wanted that explained somehow

3. Skip being slob feels off to me as I had always considered him proper chap given he is active, sporty and has high interest in work...he doesn't come off like sim that ts4 would list as "ambitionless"

4. I had always thought the pool was life insurance scam...in way or another... given they were Broke... like Skip trying to get money for his family to live off and then hiding from the law or whatnot but turns out he was just gay... so I am rather disappointed in him as sim being now. 😤 like sure be gay but at least support your family my goodness. poor Brandi and Dustin suffering with those bills while you're just competing on Love Highland or whatever, what the plum dude.

5. New skip doesn't scare me enough, the old skips intense staring eyes and poster boy smile was terrifying, especially accompanied by the tucked polo shirt and dad jeans combo he used to wear. he was what every ryebread commercial man tries to be and the whole early 2000s dad look suited him so well, now he barely dresses like anyones dad really which is a sin in fashion gals book

Alright,here is my criticisim.I am kinda dissapointed we did not get any pre-made schedules or getaways from the blog.

They promise dog retreat,work restreat,and spa retreat.But there is not a pre-made schedule and feels like we can't do that.Because of the following. 

Another issue we can't have sims do a few things.

We can't assign sims to do lectures,give messages,or tatooing.I feel like this was an oversight.

Club , Small Business, Getaway and Custom Venue need a "Hang out/Socialize at pool" activity.

Swimming pool shouldn't be only about "Swimming" (Pool party, nightclub)
