Honestly, I just think it's a boring pack--not much to do, and I don't like the idea of retreats. I think this one was a swing and a miss.

Getaway doesn't include Holiday Tradition activities.
- Egg Hunt
- Give Gifts
- Grand Meal
- Open Presents
- Streaking
- Trick or Treat
Getaway cancels Holiday so it can't complete "Go on a Vacation or Travel" tradition.

Maxis has decided that Rotational play is forbidden.
Why delete everything ? Why not keep the planned getaways but make them inactive ?

I searched AI, which is still learning... but.. apparently this is by design. 😒 I don't have the pack yet, but now.... this is a real pack killer for me because I do play rotationally. I can't play any other way. I get bored with things quickly, it's just how my brain works. I wouldn't have known had you not shared this. so Thank you NoahLGP , for sharing this tidbit. It truly is the first I have heard of it. Edit: I wonder if it only affects the AA pack giving everything in it. Well, I guess this would be a gentle push to focus on kits... just bb & cas generally speaking.

Financial Status is missing so no Getaway with rich sims for a criminal sim who would blackmail them or a gold digger sim who would seduce one of them.

This is an odd choice, and I don't like it, but at first glance... it sounds like this would mostly affect recurring getaways? Otherwise, I don't think I would normally switch households mid-getaway or with one about to start. It's a bummer for the recurring getaways, but it seems like you could somewhat get around that by saving that getaway as a template. For example, if you wanted to have a weekly family reunion, you could save the template, and then when you either rotate back to that household or to their extended family, you could just go in and reselect the template for that household. Annoying, but better than starting from scratch, maybe?

I really dislike the holidays being cancelled. I found out the hard way with my first camp getaway. I have a summer holiday in my save, and decided to have mom and dad kick it off by taking the kids to that playground in Gibbi Point before dropping the kids off at summer camp next door. All well and good, and it was a fun day for all... until I scheduled the getaway, and then suddenly the parents were depressed and angry because I ruined their holiday prematurely. 😂
I was glad to find out with the next holiday that it cancelled the holiday for the current household, but if I switched to a different household, they still had the option to complete the activities. So at least the day is not ruined for the whole world! Still, I have a lot of customized holidays in my save, so I'm going to have to watch out for that in the future.

Changing household will apparently remove current Getaways and Getaways planned on calender. So it affects only Getaways in AA pack.
I don't say it's a good thing - I don't undestand this desing choise as a rotational player.

I liked the addition of the tied neck scarf, scout style. But now I can't find it in CAS. Is it restricted to the park ranger career or to kids? I was planning a broader use of it.

Exact, it's unlocked by Park Ranger career lvl 7
